MUMBAI, INDIA: Samsung India Electronics Private Ltd. today announced two new mid-segment dual-SIM smart phones – GALAXY E7 and GALAXY E5. India is also the first country for the launch of GALAXY E7 and GALAXY E5.
Ken Kang, Senior VP, Mobile & IT, Samsung India said, “Demonstrating our commitment to the consumers here, we have selected India as the first country to launch GALAXY E7 and E5 smart phones globally.”
Samsung also launched GALAXY A5 and GALAXY A3, which are Samsung’s slimmest smart phones to date.
The 5.5" Galaxy E7 comes with 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and a Super-Amoled display. It features 13MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera.
The 5" Samsung Galaxy E5 comes with 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM and a Super-Amoled display. It features an 8MP camera with LED flasha and a 5MP front camera.
The 4.5'' Galaxy A3 comes with Super-Amoled display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera.
The 5'' Samsung Galaxy A5 features a Super-Amoled display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera.
All the devices come with Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
All the new smart phones reflects a confluence of style and technology for the young and value conscious consumers, who seek premium build and exceptional social media experience.
The launch of these new dual-sim smart phones will further strengthen Samsung’s product portfolio in the mid-range segment and expand its leadership position within the Smartphone market.

The Samsung Galaxy E5 and E7 will be available in India for around Rs. 19,300 and Rs. 23,000 respectively. The Galaxy A3 and A5 is expected to cost around Rs. 20,300 INR and Rs. 26,000 respectively.
