NEW DELHI: Samsung Electronics India has launched a program to reward its
long-term channel partners. The initiative, called the Printer Partner Program
(PPP), is expected to enhance the company’s value proposition to its 2000
channel partners across the country by providing them with additional marketing
support and partner benefits.
The channel partners can enroll in the program by filling in a form. Once
enrolled, the partner can avail benefits like purchasing as few as two printers
per month for the next 12 months. Samsung will offer special incentive schemes
exclusively for the members, discounts on other products lines, preferential
allocation of material in times of scarcity, marketing support in terms of POPs,
collaterals, priority in allocation of Samsung stalls, support in exhibitions,
unlimited laser printer brochures and posters.
Samsung undertakes periodic programs with its partners to reiterate its
commitment to them. Some of the initiatives for its partners include joint
promotions at end-user and industry events and onsite partnering in trade shows.
Samsung also facilitates speaking engagements, mutual success stories and
partnership announcements. The company provides a marketing toolkit, which
comprises brochures, data sheets, launch kits, application success stories and
news releases to assist channel partners with the development of advertising and
promotional materials and need-specific proposals. Another key feature of these
programs is national sales assistance wherein Samsung partners will
automatically have access to its national sales force for assistance in joint
sales calls, strategic account planning and executive representation in
strategic opportunities.
