Samsung launches Galaxy C7 Pro in India at Rs 27,999

Adding one more smartphone to its mid-segment category, Samsung has launched Galaxy C7 Pro in India at a price of Rs 27,999.

Available in Gold and Navy Blue colour variants, the Galaxy C7 Pro will be available on Amazon.in from April 11.

“Galaxy C7 Pro is a smartphone which we feel suits best to millennials in India. It has full metal unibody with just seven-millimetre thickness and comes with 16 megapixels primary as well as selfie camera,” Samsung India vice president for online business Sandeep Singh Arora said.

The smartphone was launched in China in January this year.

In terms of specifications, the C7 Pro is beefed up with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The phone comes with 2.2 GHz octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB inbuilt memory and support the external memory of 256 GB.

The dual-SIM Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro, that runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, comes in a full-metal unibody design, an Always-on display, a fingerprint scanner on the home button, and Samsung Pay support.

The smartphone sports a 5.7-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) Super AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

On the camera front, it features a 16-megapixel sensor on both the front and back with f/1.9 aperture. The rear camera unit comes with a PDAF and a dual-LED flash module in addition.

Connectivity options on the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro include 4G LTE, USB Type-C, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone will draw power from a 3,300mAh battery with fast charging support, which boasts 100 percent in 1 hour 40 minutes.

Recently, Samsung also launched Galaxy C9 Pro at a price of Rs 36,990.
