BANGALORE, INDIA: By next month, you can expect Samsung Galaxy Beam, on which you can project your photos and videos by beaming them directly onto any surface.
"The device will be launched in India in April," a spokesperson was quoted as saying.
The first such product from Samsung is an Android 2.3 Gingerbread-based smartphone with 1.0 GHz dual-core processor. It was launched in Bangkok.
It has a projector-dedicated application to enable selecting content and activating projection in a few simple steps. The Galaxy Beam has a 5-megapixel camera, is 12.5 mm thick and has an 8 GB internal memory, which can be expanded to 32 GB using SD card and a 2000 mAh battery.
