Samsung intros metallic series phones

BANGALORE: Samsung Telecommunications India (STI) has announced the launch of its first metallic series phones in India.

D840, the first model in the metallic series features 2 Megapixel (4x digital zoom) camera, MP3 player with integrated dual speaker offering perfect audio quality, multi-format music player for listening music on Bluetooth stereo headsets wirelessly, and Direct TV Out function, meets the entertainment demands of today’s youth, Samsung said in a statement.

Measuring 11.9 mm slim provides for 80 MB of internal memory and external microSD memory. It is also packed with 262k TFT QVGA Colour Screen, triband, bluetooth wireless support, Email and mobile printing.

Secured through mobile tracker, emergency SMS alert and privacy lock, D840 is priced at Rs 13,499, Samsung added.
