Salora launches Tenda range of Gigabit switches

BANGALORE, INDIA: Salora International Limited (SIL) has introduced Tenda’s range of Web Smart Gigabit switches, TEG12xxT series.

TEG1216T (16 Port) and TEG1224T (24 Port) provide 10/100/1000M auto-negotiation RJ-45 port & SFP Ports.

It supports automatic switchover between Gigabit electrical interface and Gigabit SFP optical interface. The company claims that with this the network can be extended from 300ft to over 50 miles using the SFP optical interface.

The switch provides intelligent features such as port mirroring, VLAN, port security, traffic statistics and QoS.

TEG12xxT series comply with the new IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) standard.
