SAE lines up digital film making workshop in Kochi

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, INDIA: Media education major SAE, part of the Access Atlantech Edutainment, is lining up a unique workshop on digital film making and recording arts in its bid to provide a platform for young aspiring students in film making.

SAE has already carved a niche in the arena of media education with over 53 campuses in 21 countries. SAE arrived in India in 2001 when it was brought in by Access Atlantech with the opening of its first campus in Chennai.

An official said SAE would conduct the workshop on digital film making and recording arts on September 26 at the YMCA hall at Kochi in Kerala. The workshop would be an eye-opener for the students looking at alternative career opportunities in the field of media and entertainment, he said.

The official added that there would be two batches of the workshop, which would include seminars and workshops. Filmmaker Deepan would make a presentation on digital film making for the students. The workshop sessions would provide in-depth insights in the following streams of media studies such as Recording Arts and Digital Film Making.
