Sabeer Bhatia's Sabsebolo.com acquires Jaxtr

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Sabsebolo.com, co-founded by Sabeer Bhatia, the man who created history with Hotmail, has acquired Jaxtr, an Internet Telephony start up based in Melno Park, California.

Jaxtr, founded by Founded by Phillip Mobin and Touraj Parang, claims to have over 10 million customers across the globe, and provides free and low-rate international calling services through computers to phones across the world.

As per the deal, Jaxtr will continue to operate under its own brand name and Sabse will maintain as well as expand the Jaxtr services. However, the financial side of the deal was not disclosed.

The acquisition is expected to help Sabsebolo.com, co-founded by Sabeer Bhatia and Yogesh Patel, in accelerating the deployment of its additional applications to Jaxtr's large user base and to leverage an instant audience for its technology, apart from increasing Sabse’s market penetration and boost its growth. SabSe's customers include AirTel, Tata and Celcom, among others.
