Acxiom will use ChamberofCommerce.com as the official debut of its online reputation management solution, a service that helps small business owners track, measure, and manage their online presence. The ability to monitor and provide feedback to customer reviews will provide businesses with a free online reputation report, which consists of listings across popular online directory sites that rank highest in search engines, reviews, ratings, and other consumer-generated content that helps business owners harness the power of social networking.

In addition, paid subscribers will have their information updated and monitored across thousands of sites including Google, Yahoo, Bing, Ask, Yelp, SuperPages, YellowPages.com, Merchant Circle, Kudzu, Service Magic and mobile search applications such as Urban Spoon and Chow Baby.

“Chamberlist is a valuable tool for business owners as it gives them a free snapshot of their online presence, the ability to monitor and provide feedback to customer reviews and a cost-effective way to get their business listed in all of the places where their customers are searching for them,” said David Bayer, CEO of DataBanq and ChamberofCommerce.com.

“A partnership with ChamberofCommerce.com gives us a unique advantage in extending Acxiom’s small business Internet marketing solutions to local merchants,” said Mike Brewer, sales leader, Acxiom Global Sales Organization, Diversified Industries. “In addition, the ability for merchants to manage their information across the web from one place is a major component of Acxiom’s strategy to be a leading contributor in the establishment of a universal business listing.”

“Most businesses don’t even realize that potential customers are trying to contact them only to find that the merchant’s phone number or address is incorrect. Nothing could be more frustrating for both merchants and customers,” said Bayer. “This partnership between Acxiom and ChamberofCommerce.com is a great step in making that frustration a thing of the past.”
