According to an official statement from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Modi will distribute appointment letters to new recruits through a video conferencing platform. Additionally, as mentioned in the statement, the Prime Minister plans to address the appointees during the event.
The ‘Rozgaar Mela’ is being conducted at 37 locations across the country, recruiting several central government departments, state governments, and union territories (UTs) to support the initiative, the Prime Minister’s Office has informed.
The Rozgaar Mela underlines the government's commitment to tackling the unemployment problem, which has been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The "Rozgar Mela" is set to take place at 37 locations nationwide. The recruits are also provided an opportunity to enhance their skills through the online module Karmayogi Prarambh available on the IGOT Karmayogi portal, which offers access to over 800 e-learning courses, the statement said.
