Rolta and Infoterra in handshake

MUMBAI: Infoterra France, an EADS Astrium subsidiary and a provider of geo-information products and services has signed an agreement with Rolta India Limited, an Indian multinational organisation which provides enterprise-level solutions and services for Geospatial Information Systems for Defense & Homeland Security, Government, and Infrastructure segments, besides offering Enterprise Design & Operations Solutions (EDOS), and Enterprise Information Technology Solutions (EITS), worldwide.

A press release tells that Infoterras “Pixel Factory” is based on more than 20 years of Infoterra experience in the domain of geo-information processing. "This unique photogrammetric suite is an entirely digital, highly automated production work-flow designed to process high volumes of geographic data while maintaining a superior product quality. This agreement allows Rolta to augment the capacity of its delivery centers for photogrammetric processing.  By combining the sophistication of Pixel Factory with Roltas experienced and highly skilled GIS experts, customers can expect to obtain high quality map products with improved turn-around." the company states.
