Robert Rando joins Patni Systems

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Patni Computer Systems, IT services provider, today announced the appointment of Robert Rando as vice president of Sales in the Product Engineering Services (PES) practice.

Rando will operate out of Patni’s North American headquarters in Cambridge, Mass., and will lead Patni’s business development efforts for high technology clients in the storage, computing and networking sub-verticals.

He has over two decade of sales experience, primarily in the storage industry. Earlier, he held senior management positions with Hewlett-Packard, Hitachi Data Systems, EMC, Data General/Clariion, 3ParData, and, most recently, OpenText Corp.
