Roamware gets a new vice-president

BANGALORE: Roamware Inc. has appointed Shabd Swarup

Sinha as vice- president, Engineering. He will be based at the Global

Development Centre in Mumbai.

Sinha has been a technology management leader, with over three decades of
experience in managing software engineering, telecom IT operations and offshore

development centres, with frontline organisations in the IT and Telecom sectors.

He is known to be a keen planner and strategist with the distinction of driving

organisations on technology and engineering fronts.



He has played a pivotal role in setting up and

directing Business Support System operations across India at Reliance Infocomm.

At Bharti Telesoft and ALIT, he also played a key role in establishing their

business operations in India and abroad.






Before joining Roamware,
Sinha was the Head of IT Shared Services at Reliance Infocomm. He also attained

other high profile positions including

being a former CEO of Bharti Telesoft and prior to that, he was president of

both (SDC) HCL Technologies and Ashok Leyland Information Technologies (ALIT).
