Ranjan Chopra of Team Computers was again elected as the VP; Saket Kapur of Greeen Vision and Surjeet Narula of Associated Business Computers will be General Secretary and Joint Secretary respectively. PK Sharma of Comnet Vision succeeds outgoing treasurer Keshav Madhav of Vidur&Co. The elections have manged to bring three new faces to the executive council body—Vinay K Bansal, Madhur Madhav and PK Sharma.

PCAIT currently has 89 numbers. Now that the elections are over the management is hoping to increase its member size by adding eight more members by the EC meeting scheduled for April 23. Sharing the association's agenda for the upcoming year, with The DQ Week, Saket Kapur said, “We want to make Nehru Place a world class IT hub and we will be working sincerely towards making that happen. Secondly, we need to form an apex body, which will control all associations existing in the area.”.

PCAIT, in their first meeting after the elections, has formed two committees, which will address issues affecting channel partners and vendors. The first committee called 'Vendor Relationship' will be spearheaded by Asim Raina of Cybermedia with the help of Alok Gupta of Unistal Systems and Kapil Wadhwa of Champion Computers. “A lot of miscommunication often takes place between vendors and channel partners. This committee will ensure a smooth relationship between the two,” added Kapur. The Legal and Ethical committee, which includes Alok Gupta of Softmart Solutions, Alok Gupta of Cache Technologies and Vinay Bansal of Synapse, will promote ethical trade practices amongst members of the association and dealers in Nehru Place. This move was necessitated because of the increased instances of counterfeited products sold in the market.

This time, during the elections, voting was not required because there were 15 positions and the same number filed nomination. Clarifying on the same, Kapur said, “It is even better that the voting did not take place. Voting sometimes gives scope for manipulations and twisting the results. All members were elected unanimously.”

According to the Executive Secretary of PCAIT, V Krishnan, majority of the team remained the same because a lot of the work is pending. “It might have taken a new team more time to understand the whole process and make things happen. A lot of work is incomplete and everyone wanted the same team to carry on,” said Krishnan.
