Ringdale's home automation solution, that was unveiled at GITEX, integrates with the Apple iPod touch and iPhone as the remote control and manages everything from outdoor and indoor lighting, security systems and access control, air conditioning, irrigation, garage doors, wireless computer connections, CCTV and IP phones, said a press release.

Its partner in the Middle East, Intuitive Systems, a value adding distributor of software and hardware solutions and a participant at GITEX for several years, demonstrated Ringdale's products, including its flagship FollowMe(R) Secure Document Output Management solution, it added.

Intuitive Systems provides inventory and technical support resources in the Middle East to allow Ringdale to react swiftly to customers' requirements.

"GITEX was a perfect venue for us to showcase our Access Control products and launch our new Home Automation solution," said Klaus Bollmann, chief executive officer, Ringdale and chairman and chief executive officer of its parent company, Network Technology Plc.

"The Middle East market has been very significant for us. Ringdale is by far the largest player in secure document output management in the region, and has several thousand printers connected to the FollowMe solution,” he said.

He opined that, as the market grows and expands its need for advanced IP-based access control and authenticated printing, it will continue to play a major role in the company’s international business development.

GITEX was also an ideal platform for Ringdale to forge a closer partnership with Maskan Arabia, a leading housing development company in the Middle East, which was echoed in a Maskan press conference held the last day of the conference, the release added.
