Ricoh intros full-featured Aficio for small office market

New Jersey, USA: Ricoh Americas Corporation, a leading provider of digital office equipment, has announced the addition of four new products - the Aficio SP C231SF/SP C232SF color multifunction printers (MFPs), and the Aficio SP C311N/SP C312DN color laser printers - designed for small and medium-size office environments.

These products combine high-end features, fast color print speeds and a compact footprint to provide users with highly efficient document solutions that lowers a business's total cost of ownership.

All four products offer quick print speeds for both color and black-and-white jobs, with the Aficio SP C231SF/SP C232SF producing 21 pages-per-minute (ppm) and the Aficio SP C311N/SP C312DN printing at 26 ppm.

Along with improved output speeds, a new higher yield All-in-One print cartridge greatly reduces per-page costs and the time spent on maintenance interruptions. To boost overall productivity, users can print presentations and other critical business documents in crisp color, with resolutions of up to 2400 x 600 dots-per-inch (dpi). In addition, the Aficio SP C231SF/SP C232SF has a 35-sheet Automatic Document Feeder, which quickly scans a document to reduce the time spent during multi-page copying, scanning and faxing projects.

Building upon Ricoh's environmental sustainability platform, the Aficio SP C231SF/SP C232SF and the SP C311N/SP C312DN offer fast warm-up times, as well as Energy Saver mode that helps "green" the office by greatly reducing power consumption when the machine is idle. Users are also encouraged to participate in the toner recycling program, where consumers can send their used cartridges back to Ricoh for easy and cost-free recycling. In addition, duplex output is standard for the Aficio SP C231SF/SP C232SF and SP C312DN, which cuts paper usage in half for multi-page business documents.

The Aficio SP C231SF and the SP C311N both have an MSRP of $899. The Aficio SP C232SF has an MSRP of $999 and the SP C312DN carries an MSRP of $1,149.
