Ricoh aims to garner Rs. 1,000 crore this fiscal with new products

Office printing and imaging solutions major Ricoh has today unveiled new SP 200 series of laser and multi-function printers in a price range of Rs 8,250 to 18,000. These include SP 200, SP 200N, SP 200SU, SP 202SN, SP 203SF and SP203SFN.

With new products, the company is eying at Rs 1,000 crore during the current fiscal and aims to sell 100,000 units in the Indian market. The new printer series is complimented with Genuine Refill program which the company claims to be innovative.

Ricoh India MD and CEO Tetsuya Takana said that with new range SMB segment is set to get advantage of low-cost products. "We care expecting topline revenue of Rs 1,000 crore during the current fiscal year," he added.

Ricoh India, however, last year managed to get Rs 620 crore revenue. The company as a part of global policy is transforming to a service-led company, Takana informed. Ricoh is also focusing at emerging markets.

CFO and SVP at Ricoh India Manoj Kumar said that they are expanding in 200 cities and increasing their channel and retail partner base to 3,000. "We also plan to open Ricoh brand stores in metro cities and an eStore for Internet-savvy consumers," said Kumar.
