Rex-Rotary expands its ops to North India

NEW DELHI: Chennai-based Rex-Rotary India, a player in the digital document management solutions, has expanded its operations to the northern part of India by setting up its office in Delhi.

Rex-Rotary has strategic alliances with brands like Samsung, Panasonic and RISO as their distribution arm in the country. The company has set itself on an aggressive growth path and has set its eyes on being one billion company by the next fiscal.

The company has split its range of products into two categories — volume and value products. For contracts more than Rs 1,00,000, which fall in the value business, the company gets in touch with the end users directly. The company drives its volume business through its nationwide dealer network.

The company is planning to expand it channel base to 500 by March 2006 from the current 200. Out of the 300 new partner, in North itself the company plans to appoint 100 more channel partners.

Rex-Rotary CEO PB Prasad said, “We are currently focusing our energies in expanding our operations with the country and reaching out to markets in which we currently operate. In this area the company has committed investments to it expansion plans both within India and our SAARC operations and is investing around Rs four crore towards these expansions.”
