Chandigarh, India:  Chandigarh Administration in association with Punjab, Haryana and STPI will hold its 3rd major I.T. conference e-Revolution 2007 on August 2 and 3, 2007 at Hotel Taj, Chandigarh.

The 2 day event would be a major conference focusing on the needs of the I.T. industry; this would be organized in collaboration with NASSCOM. E-Governance and I.T. for society would also be in focus to further the ways in which information and communication technology (ICT) can deliver more towards making the process of government a faster, fairer and friendlier one. This will be in consultation with TiECON, New Delhi and the Band of Angels.

Chandigarh Administration has been making a conscious effort to promote Chandigarh in the Knowledge Sector and the city has seen a rapid increase in activities in the field of financial services, IT Services, Insurance Services, Hospitality, Health and Education services. The event would be a  platform for the State governments and UT Administration to address the common agenda, creating value in the business ecosystems for IT industry.

Today’s mantra for survival and growth, sustaining entrepreneurship in a growing company, Global economic ecosystem-powering excellence through diversity, e-governance issues and I.T. for society.

The event ‘Achieving Excellence through a 360° Approach’ will be a platform for companies in the region to congregate and discuss performance management issues, share best practices and build strategies for ensuring performance excellence.

The key highlights of the conclave will include an array of keynote presentations and a panel discussion by the industry experts and will touch upon the topic of Leadership and Managing People, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Talent Management.

Some of the leading personalities like Mr. Kiran Karnik, President NASSCOM, Mr. Lakshmi Narayan, Chairman NASSCOM & Cognizant Technologies Ltd, Mr. Romi Malhotra, Country Head, DELL and Mr. Saurabh Srivastava, Chairman-TiE/Band of Angels/NASSCOM foundation & Chairman Emeritus XANSA would present for the event.
