BANGALORE: Bangalore based Career-Graph, a talent search firm, has announced the launch of a HR service, for the first time in India, called 'Resume Grabber'. This service electronically extracts and categorizes email resumes using client-defined keywords & parameters, so as to drastically cut down hiring cycle times.

Resume Grabber is targeted at HR managers, primarily in the IT industry, who have to go through the tedious process of wading through thousands of email responses manually on a regular basis. This problem becomes even more acute following a recruitment advertisement or during a sustained hiring campaign.

Resume Grabber is a service, through which the resumes, which come by emails following a recruitment advertisement by a company, can be extracted and categorized electronically. The service can be custom made for an organization with ambitious hiring plans. With this service the employer can reach the potential candidates within a very short time. What would normally take more than a week by an HR manager with his team of recruiters can be done in 2 days time using Resume Grabber, states a company press release.

Announcing the launch of Resume Grabber, Anjan Dutta, Principal Consultant, Career-Graph said, "Career-Graph's unique service can be a blessing for the HR Managers in the IT industry. It is our observation that the process is more than 80 % accurate on the key parameters defined. We also ensure complete confidentiality by doing the entire work at the client's office. Our unique proposition comes at a fraction of the price of what could cost the company in processing the same manually. The process also eliminates the factor of human error. The most important factor is you reach out to the candidates much faster than your competitors."

"With Resume Grabber, HR personnel could devote themselves to more creative works like shortlisting, scheduling and interviewing candidates instead of wading through thousands of unread emails. This will also ensure that the company meets the most relevant candidates immediately instead of trying to go through and shortlist from more than hundreds of irrelevant emails," added Anjan Dutta.
