Resellers' nite out — DQ Week awards

GURGAON: The much-awaited DQ Week Reseller Awards ceremony was held yesterday in Delhi, followed by a pow wow involving the channel community from across North India.

Trifin Information Technology bagged the Best Software Reseller award during the annual DQ awards ceremony in Delhi - which is now into its seventh year.

The ceremony saw two new categories being included this year - Best Software Reseller and Best Media Reseller -- taking the total number of categories for Delhi to six.

The Best Media Reseller award went to International Computer Resources and the Best Retailer Award was bagged by Computer Land, for the third time in the last four years, while Unique Infoways bagged the runner up Award.

The Best System Integrator award went to Team Computers and PC Solutions bagged the runner up.

In the Reseller category, the runner up award went to Digitronics Infosolutions while Agmatel India bagged the Best Reseller Award for Delhi. The Best Sub Distributor Award went to RR Systems while Micro Max Technologies bagged the runner-up award in this category.

The electric atmosphere at the ceremony was set crackling with prominent industry leaders, the likes of Neelam Dhawan, MD Microsoft India, Logitech India country manager Moninder Jain, Xerox GM Shailendra Swarup, Canon India VP Alok Bharadwaj, Kodak India GM Manisha Sood, HP India country manager Ashwini Aggarwal, Redington India GM Vidur Sehgal, Emerson India VP Shrikant Bapat, Ingram Micro senior director SP Rajguru, and other channel community executives.
