Reliance Infocomm breaks circle barrier

MUMBAI: Reliance Infocomm has ushered in the New Year with a new scheme called "One Nation One Tariff", designed to make the circle barrier a matter of the past.

According to SP Shukla, president-wireless, Reliance, all pre-paid Reliance subscribers who take up this scheme could now call from Reliance India Mobile to anywhere across the country for just Re 1 per minute.

This one nation tariff will be applicable on an e-recharge of Rs 1,100, which is inclusive of service tax, Shukla told reporters here. The e-recharge comes bundled with 1,100 free SMSs that can be send to any phones within the State.

For Reliance's post-paid customers, the company has offered "Joy", a scheme that enables them to call to any fixed or mobile phones across the country for Re 1. An added feature of this scheme is that subscribers can call any Reliance India Mobile within the State for 40 paise a minute.
