Redington to distribute CA products

BANGALORE: Computer Associates International Inc. (CA) has announced a tie-up

with Redington India Ltd., for the distribution of its products. Redington will

be the third authorized distribution partner enlisted by CA in India to market

its products.

On the occasion of the tie-up, CA senior vice president South and Southeast

Asia Venkat Subbarao said, "CA has distributor tie-ups with Sonata and

Datapro and is committed to enabling our channel partners to better serve CA

customers in various market segments."

Redington India will leverage CA technology through its business partners to

provide corporate customers in India with advanced, manageable and reliable

business systems. For CA, this association would mean benefiting from the

network of Business Partners that Redington has so carefully developed over the

years, states a press release issued by the company. CA also claims that it

delivers the technical, training and marketing support required for channel

partners to provide excellent service to its customers, as well as a way to

distinguish its value-added solutions among a growing number of competitors.

Through the Development Partner program, partners who integrate its solutions

with CA technology, gain access to the marketing and business strategies that

have made CA a leader in mission-critical software.
