Rediff.com launches web hosting solutions

MUMBAI: Rediff.com India Ltd has announced the launch of Rediff web hosting, a hosting platform and a complete web presence management tool for young entrepreneurs. It is an integrated platform comprising of personalized domain names, business email solutions and web hosting services with advanced online features like the creation of individualized blog, message board and photo album sections.






According to the press release, the company allows the entrepreneurs to create and manage their website in cost efficient packages per their business needs. Two hosting packages — 'basic' and 'advanced' have been initially launched in addition to a variety of tailor-made combinations. Each of these solutions are priced with single domain registration costing Rs 495 per annum while the annual basic web hosting service is priced at Rs 2,400. Various combinations of hosting, email and domain registrations are priced accordingly.





The service provides booking of all the international Top Level Domains (TLD) like .com, .org, .net, .info, .biz as well as country level domains ( ccTLD ) such as .in, .co.in, .org.in and .net.in.





The basic web hosting package comes with 100MB of storage space, sub-domains, web control panel, compatibility with both Windows and Linux platform that supports Java, etc. The business email service, RediffmailPro service provides five personalized email IDs, 1GB mail storage space, offline access of mails through POP3.
