NEW DELHI, INDIA: Central government has approved the proposal of Niti Aayog to make various examination scores and ranking online through a dedicated portal.
This will help the candidates taking competitive recruitment examinations such as UPSC, SSC, etc. to access their scores and rankings online.
NIC (National Informatics Centre) will develop the portal as an 'Integrated Information System for Public Recruitment Agencies', said DoPT in a communication to Niti Aayog and DEITy.
NIC has already designed a portal, a single point source for various examinations conducted in India, i.e www. results.gov.in.
Scores and ranking of all the recruitment exams will be uploaded on the portal, with the links of related recruiting agencies' pages.
The candidates may opt out of the public disclosure of their scores, said DoPT. The actual implementation, therefore, can be done only on those examinations for which the application forms will be invited in future.
