Recently, RCTA held one such meeting with vendors and distributors in Jaipur and created a platform for them to raise and discuss the issues and concerns with the channel community.

“The meeting was a platform to talk on issues that distributors are having with the channel partners. An important issue raised was the cross-border material selling. The distributors accorded that this activity hampers their revenue in the state. Distributors opined that if price is a problem for partners, they can discuss the same with vendors, but cross-border business is not the right solution,” informed Sharda.

The meeting was attended by more than 80 guests, which included distributors and vendors operating in the market. The meeting was attended by Acer, HP, Lenovo, IBM, Microsoft, TVS-E, Wipro, Intex, Samsung, LG, Epson, Canon, iBall, Asus, Logitech, Ingram, Redington, Iris, Supertron, NCS, Jupiter, Savex, ADI, Neoteric, Tech-Com, Rashi, Amconics, Tirupati, Aditya, SES and others.

Sharda further added, “Any activity done by RCTA are not commercial activities. It is an effort to promote IT business in Rajasthan in the common interest of vendors, distributors and channel partners. The discussions and suggestions shared during the meeting were very positive and in the direction of boosting IT business in Rajasthan,” informed Sharda

RCTA is also holding its three-day IT exhibition in August and is expecting to get an impressive response from customers and local visitors. Also on the agenda is a family get together.
