RCom unveils Twenty20 World Cup

MUMBAI, INDIA: Reliance Communications, the official global partner for the edition, has unveiled the Twenty20 World Cup in Mumbai. Designed by Minalee and Bryce, the ICC Twenty20 World Cup weighs around 12 kg and made of silver hodium.

The cup is manufactured in India by city-based artistes Amit Pabuwal.

"Our country is fascinated by three things - cinema, music and cricket - and we are committed to enhance our customers experience in these passions that bind every Indian, in India and globally. Our association with the game goes a long way with Reliance World Cup in 1987 and we are proud to be associated with the new format of the game that ensures quality entertainment," Reliance Communications Head, Branding and Marketing Sanjay Behl said.

"Indian cricket team captain for the tournament MS Dhoni is also the brand ambassador of Reliance. With the World Cup in mind, we are launching Dhoni-Dhanadan pack that will excite cricket lovers across the country," he added.

The company has also announced a slew of services on the Reliance Mobile platform aimed at generating interest in the game.

It launched a offering, Dhoni Pack. This enables subscribers to get score updates after every over, wicket alerts, live streaming videos, videos of match highlights, wallpapers, dhoni zone and can even participate in a contest using their handsets.

Dhoni pack comes under two price points Rs 49 and Rs 79, each allowing users to access wide array of quality services.

It also launched another product – 'full talktime 2020 recharge voucher' – a pre-paid product that allows users to get 100 per cent talk time value. It has a talk time validity of 12 months and incoming validity of 20 months.

For new mobile subscribers, Reliance launched an exciting scheme where-in a customer can get a full expense paid trip to watch Twenty20 world cup finals in South Africa by getting a first recharge of at least Rs 300.
