BANGALORE: Ramsoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd., has entered into a strategic
partnership with the Dutch company, QA Systems International BV, to market and
support a software quality assurance solution for the Java community. QStudio
Java, the product for checking the quality of Java code is available under
Windows and Unix/Linux platforms for Java users in India. This product is being
launched in India ahead of Japan and the US.
QStudio Java is targeted at users of the Java development community. It could
be software development houses, end users or the training institutes. QA-Systems
plans to offer this SQA solution for a range of platforms as an Application
Service Provider on the Internet. After that, users would be able to pay
according to their use of the software. QA Systems plans to use Ramsoft to
design and develop the ASP version of the product for them. The product is
priced at $99 for India. It is being offered as free download at the company’s
until September. QA Systems, which generated revenues of $4 million last year,
is targeting a turnover of $5 million this year.
"The Indian market is really growing and mature and we want the Java
users from India to bring out good quality products. Our product will help all
the developers, test managers, project managers and quality managers to get the
best results out of their software," said QA Systems CEO Wim Van De Brug.
