Ramamurthy to replace Amar Babu at Intel

BANGALORE: Come July, Intel India's marketing division will see a change of
guard. Intel veteran Sivakumar (Siva) Ramamurthy has been chosen to replace Amar

Babu as the head of marketing.






Ramamurthy has been with Intel for the last 18 years and is currently serving as
the worldwide director, business development, mobility group, in the US.






According to an Intel spokesperson, Ramamurthy is familiar to the Indian market.
He has been part of the initial team that set up operations in India around 10

years ago.

 





Amar Babu  has served as director, sales and marketing for the last four

years, and is expected to move to the US to take on a new position within Intel.





Intel's Bangalore-based sales and marketing office has a 200-member team. Its
offices are spread across cities like Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Chandigarh and

Kolkata.
