Ram Sevak Sharma is new IT secreatry of India

NEW DELHI: The government has appointed Ram Sevak Sharma, the Jharkhand cadre IAS officer, as secretary of Department of Electronics and Information Technology ( DEITY).

Sharma will succeed J Satyanarayana who will retire on April 30.

According to an official order:"The Appointments Committee of the cabinet has approved the appointment of Ram Sewak Sharma, IAS (JH 78), at present in the cadre, as Secretary, Department of Electronics and Information Technology."
