Quiz for a good cause

CHENNAI: Child Relief and You (CRY), a non-profit organisation working for child rights in India, is organizing a quiz for corporates on Monday, 28 April, 6 pm onward at Vani Mahal, T. Nagar, Chennai.

In its sixth year, FACT (Free A Child Today) is a corporate quizzing event that was originally conceived by a group of volunteers in Bangalore. This year, this quiz is being conducted by acclaimed quizmaster Derek O’Brien in Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai with the national finals being held in Delhi on 10 May, 2003.

The annual CRY FACT quiz has become a feature on calendars of corporate organisations like Cognizant, Efunds and Covansys, all of which have sent teams in the past. This year for the first time, the event has garnered the support of automobile major Maruti Udyog Limited as title sponsor.
