ALISO VIEJO, USA: Quest Software, Inc. will showcase a complete lineup of its solutions for enterprise database and application management, as well as Oracle development, at Oracle OpenWorld 2009.
“Oracle OpenWorld is a great forum for exchanging ideas and learning about the challenges Oracle professionals face in their day-to-day work,” said Larry Humphries, vice president and general manager, Toad for Oracle business unit, Quest Software.
“We feel it’s very fitting to unveil product updates that were largely influenced by user feedback, at a show that encourages community interaction and education,” added Humphries.
In addition to Toad 10, the newest release of Spotlight on Oracle will debut in the booth. Celebrating its 10-year mark, Spotlight now includes major predictive performance modeling capabilities that allow database administrators (DBAs) to determine capacity limits of the current database, and model the effects of future changes to workload or hardware configuration.
Demonstrations of Foglight, Quest’s application performance management solution, will illustrate integrated end-user and service level management of applications running on a mix of physical and virtual infrastructures. Foglight delivers monitoring, diagnostics and analysis for WebLogic, Oracle Application Server, PeopleSoft, Siebel, Oracle E-Business, Oracle database, and many other non-Oracle application platforms.
