Quest becomes certified partner in Dell program

BANGALORE, INDIA: Quest Software, Inc., a provider in enterprise management solutions, today announced that it has been formally recognized as a certified partner in the Dell ISV Partner Program.

Dell has certified Quest’s application monitoring and management solution, Foglight, for seamless integration with Dell OpenManage, said a press release.

The customers could now have unprecedented visibility into their business services from the end user experience to the hardware infrastructure.

Foglight provides a correlated, 360-degree view of applications from the end user to the database and from service levels to the supporting software infrastructure. From deployment to monitoring to hardware update, Dell OpenManage delivers a core set of comprehensive management tools to help keep Dell systems running smoothly, the release added.

The integration of OpenManage systems management functionality with Foglight provides customers with a single console view to correlate software performance metrics with hardware health, find and fix the root cause of incidents, and improve control over IT investments.

The Dell ISV Partner Program is focused on simplifying the management of disparate infrastructure platforms, applications, and IT services. Seamless integration of Dell OpenManage systems management functionality in Foglight enhances the manageability of Dell platforms and services, the release said.

Dell has validated this functionality and certifies that the implementation performs to Dell standards, it added. Foglight is expected to provide maximum value for Dell customers by minimizing the time to deploy, the cost to administer, and the overhead placed on the combined environment.
