QuarkXPress 10 available for low upgrade price

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Quark Software has announced a limited time offer for InDesign, PageMaker and Corel Draw users in India. Starting January 1, 2014, anyone with a copy of one of the eligible design products can purchase a copy of QuarkXPress 10 for the cost of an upgrade of Rs 22,000 plus applicable taxes.

To take advantage of this offer, customers need to provide proof of ownership of InDesign, PageMaker or Corel Draw by submitting the serial number, invoice or license certificate.

"The special offer is for organizations large and small that prefer not to be locked into cloud-based software rental. Designers now have an affordable option for moving to QuarkXPress 10, which is sold as perpetual licenses with no requirement for ongoing payments," the company said, clearly hinting that it is targeting Adobe customers, as Adobe has stopped perpetual licenses and moved its Creative Suite to cloud.
