QAI to host ASIA SEPG 2003 in India

BANGALORE: QAI India limited, among the world's leading Software Process Improvement organizations will host the Asian SEPG 2003 Conference in Hyderabad from August 1-2, 2003. The conference is supported by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and it aims at bringing together experts and practitioners from Industry, Academia and Government to share ideas and learning in the area of Software Process improvements - providing information on how organizations are improving their software engineering practices, including baseline and assessment practices, metrics, quality techniques and testing. It will also recognize the best organizations through the 'Best of the Best Awards' and the newly instated 'CSI-QAI Process Excellence Award' along with the Computer Society of India.

Prominent speakers at the conference are Prof. Sudhakar Deshmukh from Kellogg Management Institute, Dr.Iraj Hirmanpour from SEISM, USA and Dr.Eric De Smet, of the `Theory of Constraints' fame from The Goldratt Institute. The conference will also have world-class papers presented by distinguished companies/institutions and tutorials by subject matter experts from high maturity organizations like GE, Motorola, Boeing, Wipro, Infosys, Patni Computer Systems among others. The topics covered will include topics such as 'How to maximize ROI on IT projects' now and in the Future', 'Integrating Six Sigma & CMMI', 'Business Continuity for clients', 'Climbing the CMMI Maturity leader with PSP & TSP' and 'Strategic Operations' amongst others.
