Aquavx customers will be able to take advantage of M2M’s monitoring services, which process over three million data points each day, combined with Antx’s experience that has been gathered over the past twenty five years from selling over 40,000 units to the water and wastewater markets. Through Aquavx, customers will benefit from the history of both companies while dealing with a single entity, adds a press release. This experience also allows Aquavx to provide an unprecedented level of service including a 99.5 per cent service level agreement, two year warranty on all hardware, and 24 x 7 x 365 customer support.

Aquavx deploys intelligent hardware products connected to lift stations, pumps, wells, and tanks. The hardware monitors the equipment and reports data at regular intervals, whenever alarms occur, and at the end of the day to provide station operational information. The hardware then communicates via AT&T’s cellular network or through a satellite terminal to a tier 1 data center, where it is processed. Alarm recipients are notified based on user defined rules via voice, text, or email. Users may then generate reports, maps, and charts to increase operational efficiency, improve day-to-day maintenance, generate regulatory reports with less effort and manage your equipment better – all without hiring more staff.

Aquavx claims to bring together M2M’s experience developing hosted services with Antx’s hardware and industry knowledge to deliver a turnkey satellite and cellular based SCADA alternative to the water and wastewater industry.

“Antx was the perfect partner to compliment M2M’s services in the water and wastewater space. We wanted a partner with a proven track record in this market segment, and this is what we got with Antx,” said Donald Wallace M2M’s President and CEO. “Our solution was well suited for water and wastewater applications, but we knew that finding the right partner would be critical to our success,” he added.
