PTC appoints Trident Techlabs

BENGALURU, INDIA: PTC has announced that it has appointed Trident Techlabs as a channel partner offering Pro/ENGINEER, Mathcad and Windchill suite of solutions to the education sector comprising of engineering colleges, Polytechnic institutes, ITIs and vocational training institutions.

Commenting on the appointment, Rafiq Somani, Country Manager, PTC said, “Techlabs has been instrumental in providing engineering technology to technical education institutes across India, enabling them to reach high standards of teaching excellence, thus helping increase the number of industry ready engineers graduating each year. This agreement will help PTC India achieve our goal of expanding our presence in the education/academia sector by over 30 percent this year alone.”

According to the agreement Trident Techlabs will provide to the educational institutes Pro/ENGINEER, integrated 3D CAD/CAM/CAE software; Mathcad, engineering calculation solution and Windchill, content and process management solution.
