QA C 8.0 with MISRA-C:1998 or MISRA-C:2004 Compliance Modules, and QA C++ 3.0 with MISRA-C++:2008 Compliance Module have been certified by TUV SUD as ''fit for purpose'' for achieving compliance with ISO 26262:2011 and IEC 61508:2010, said the press release.

This certification reduces the time and cost of meeting the requirements of these standards during the software development phase.

Coupled with the long history of use of QA C and QA C++ in software development, these certifications demonstrate that PRQA tools with MISRA are the static analysers of choice for any company developing software that needs to achieve ISO 26262 or IEC 61508 compliance for its products.
