The extremely cost effective PTP 650 is slated to be a game-changer in the world of point-to-point wireless solutions, with its remarkably high output power and throughput and market-leading spectral efficiency and NLOS performance.

The highly capable wireless connectivity product can deliver up to 99.999 percent availability in virtually any environment, including non-line-of-sight, long-distance line-of-sight, high interference, over water and desert, and through extreme weather conditions.

Prologix Distribution has witnessed a growing regional interest in wireless connectivity solutions. "For years, Middle East enterprises and service providers have been looking for a point-to-point solution which would provide them high output power, long range, wide band and multi-channel bandwidth. The output power of PTP 650 is almost double that of its predecessor and the closest competitor in the market," said Aditya Sahaya, director-Business Development at Prologix.

He feels that with features like 27 dBm output power, 4.9-6.05 GHz wide band, 450 Mbps throughput and up to 200 km LOS range, the new solution can more than fulfill what industry users have been seeking.

"From the reception and feedback we received during our participation at GITEX 2013 it is abundantly clear that public and private sector organizations in the MEA region see wireless as a vital component of their networks- especially for last mile backhaul. The performance, reliability and extremely competitive pricing of the PTP 650 solution make it ideally suited to meet regional demands. We are well aware of the market potential for Cambium's range of solutions which is why we have aggressively ramped up our technical and sales capabilities in these technologies," Sahaya said.

Prologix intends to work closely with Service Providers, Government, Defence and Security agencies, Law Enforcing agencies and private enterprises such as Utility companies, Oil and Gas companies, and Healthcare agencies across the region to implement wireless networks that incorporate the PTP 650 solution.

The Value Added Distributor has strong technical expertise clubbed with deep industry knowledge, and will ensure that through trainings, its channel partners and customers will attain an equal level of familiarity and expertise in these solutions. These will be carried out by highly trained engineers who have been certified by the vendor.
