Progressive's services offering span across the IT infrastructure needs of an enterprise and has two strategic business units; Infrastructure Provisioning and Managed Services. The company is working towards getting BS15000 certified for its entire delivery process and the certification is expected by January 2006.

According to Garg, “With the BS 15000 certification we would complete our portfolio in terms of our ability to deliver end to end high quality services. This certification would bring in maturity to our processes, we already have delivery capability so we scale it to a different level besides opening up overseas market.”

Secondly, the company is making a major investment - close to half a million dollar in setting up a NOC at its Noida facility. The company has its own facility in Noida spanning over 10,000 sq. ft. and is adding another 8,000 sq. ft. for the NOC. Progressive would start the piloting of the NOC by end of November and commercial services are expected to start by January 2006.

Garg said, “We are setting up the NOC ourselves and have chosen HP OpenView as the platform.

With the NOC in place, we want to create a hybrid model i.e. provide onsite as well as remote services. This would be first of its kind in the country.”
