Progeon enters KM segment

NEW DELHI: Progeon Ltd, a BPO company, has announced its intention to venture into the knowledge services segment. According to the press release, the company believes that this is a promising new area that leverages the company's existing capability in complex, end to end outsourcing in financial services. This new segment will include equity research, credit analysis, fixed income research, bond analysis, economic analysis, industry analysis and company analysis for leading investment banks from across the world.



The release further states that knowledge services is a promising new vertical for Progeon to enhance its business and revenue growth by utilizing best-in-class outsourcing solutions. Global financial institutions are beginning to recognize the Indian capability for high-end outsourcing in this area.



"Progeon has always been very deliberate in its overall strategy including choice of segments, type of work etc and we now believe it is the right time for us to launch our knowledge services offering. We have spent the last few months studying the market and doing some pilot work to gain a better understanding of the dynamics. We are very excited with what we have learnt and we believe that this will add greater strength and versatility to the DNA of our organization", stated CEO of Progeon, Akshaya Bhargava.



Progeon, is a subsidiary of Infosys Technologies Ltd.
