Establishment of Gujarat Chemical Association (GCA) dates back to 1947 when India got its independence. It is a matter of great pride that foundation of GCA coincides with the country’s freedom. It could only be possible due to great visionary, entrepreneurship and sharp business acumen of a bunch of entrepreneurs connected with chemical and allied industry. Today, GCA has reached to a point of no return and it commands respect and recognition nationally and globally.

GCA introduces itself as the Apex organization of Chemical, Pharmaceuticals, Dyes and Intermediates, Agro Chemicals, Specialty Chemicals in the state of Gujarat. The burning desire to consolidate and serve the entrepreneurs of Chemical industry and related product-producing industries, is where the idea of establishing GCA was mooted. Over the years, GCA has emerged as peak organization voicing the concerns of the Chemical and allied product manufacturers and traders. Starting with a meager membership of 21, today, GCA has reached to the strength of more than 500 members to its fold from all over Gujarat.
