Prepaid services to drive mobile wallet

AVENTURA, USA: The Financial Mobility Summit announced its slate of speakers for the inaugural FM Summit, to be held at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas, NV, August 13-14, co-located with The Prepaid Press Expo, now in its sixth successful year.

The two-day FM Summit will explore the world of mobile payments convergence, where prepaid debit and gift cards, loyalty and marketing programs, alternative banking, gaming, top-up services and e-commerce meet on a mobile device.

Summit sessions will address the evolution of the mobile wallet, mobile bank accounts, mobile marketing, mobile commerce, and more. Retailers, merchant acquirers, wireless resellers, agents, distributors, prepaid providers and financial services companies will learn how mobile payments can transform their businesses.

The two-day Summit will kick off with a keynote address by David Nelsen, president of Giftango, an InComm company that has been instrumental in bringing digital gift card programs mobile. A visionary and entrepreneur, Nelsen's first introduction to digital content was with secure streaming of multimedia back in the early days of digital music. He has filed eight patents in fields ranging from music streaming to digital payments and stored value.
