PPTV to showcase SPFL in China for first time

SHANGHAI, CHINA: PPTV and The Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL), in partnership with leading sports media rights agency MP & Silva, co-announced the broadcast partnership to showcase the Scottish Premiership in China for the first time, covering the 2013/2014 season.

By signing the agreement, PPTV gets exclusive broadcast rights for more than 55 SPFL matches across all media platforms and devices, including television, mobile and Internet media platforms. Football fans in China can look forward to catching the Scottish Premiership.

Currently PPTV's sports programs include Barclays Premier League, Liga BBVA and Chinese Super League football as well as basketball, tennis, golf and motor sports. The partnership with SPFL will undoubtedly solidify PPTV's leadership in sports broadcasting.

Furthermore, as a new member of paid channels of PPTV, including MLS, J. LEAGUE, K-League, Npower Football League Championship, Primera Division Argentina, and etc. the SPFL channel marks PPTV's constantly exploration to bring more and more wonderful video programs to Chinese audiences in a sustainable way.
