Power outage takes Salesforce.com offline

BANGALORE, INDIA: Online CRM major Salesforce.com was hit due to a major power outage, taking down its services in Europe.

As per reports the the initial outage that began at 12:49 a.m PDT on Wednesday. This is second such outage that has hit the cloud major, in two weeks.

As per trust.salesforce.com, the company’s customer information portal, services in six instances are still facing disruptions and one is having performance issues.

Salesforce has updated that it is trying to resolve the issues on NA0 (SSL), NA5, NA6, CS0 (TAPP0), CS1, CS3, CS12 and EU0 (EMEA) servers.

Though the company's main page went offline for sometime during the outage, it is online now.
