“Our next generation multi-port Gigabit Ethernet switch IP is best suited for Wireless LAN access points, gateways, set-top boxes in residential and SMB markets. It delivers blistering Gigabit performance, saves energy and provides reliability in one cost-effective, space-saving design,” said Chakra Parvathaneni, VP, Marketing, Posedge.

The company claims that the new solution is scalable from 100 Mbps to 16 Gigabits per sec with flexibility in deployment with options such as CAM based or SRAM based MAC Tables.

The L2+ switch is a self-contained IP with proprietary bus for optimal throughput and can operate in un-managed switch or managed switch modes.
