BANGALORE: Chennai-based Polaris Software Lab Ltd. has registered

a turnover of Rs 34.17 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 1999 against Rs 13.64 crore in the corresponding period last year, marking a growth of 151 per cent.

The net profit in the quarter has increased to Rs 12.14 crore from Rs 2.97 crore. This increase, however, has been to a great extent on account of interest income accruing from over subscription of the company's initial public offering. Excluding this one-time interest income, the net profit for the quarter is Rs 6.26 crore.
