Polaris in pact with German co

CHENNAI: Software solutions and service provider, Polaris Software Lab Ltd has entered into a strategic partnership with German based IT consulting organization, plenum AG. According to the agreement, the companies would jointly offer high-value and risk mitigated offshore management solution portfolio to customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

According to the press release, the coming together of plenum and Polaris leverages complimentary strengths and offers prospective customers an integrated team that can provide end-to-end services and solutions. plenum - Polaris partnership service offerings range from IT management consulting, offshore software development and delivery, IT process consulting, technology management training and the comprehensive suite of banking products, Orbi One.

The centerpiece of the offshore management solution portfolio is the "Catalyst Model". In this model, Polaris will provide its mature offshore delivery processes and methods, offshore infrastructure and resources. plenum will compliment this with IT management consulting, country specific domain and regulatory knowledge.

An integrated plenum-Polaris team will be able to provide an effective operational mechanism for delivering complex IT services and solutions to customers. The model is designed to provide the comfort of dealing with a German service provider with the cost and delivery efficiency of an Indian service provider.
