Plustek launches Security IPcam P1100

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Plustek, an image solutions company, announces the launch of Plustek Security IPcam P1100, a highly sophisticated camera for the surveillance market.

It is a full-featured surveillance system connecting to Ethernet or fast Ethernet and controls I/O port via Internet, thereby providing high quality of video over the Internet or Intranet which the CIOs exactly look for.

Plustek IPcam P1100 Network Camera has 2X digital zoom, which enables the camera to obtain a much closer view. It is enhanced with CMOS sensor that provides sharp and clear image for colour presentation. It provides resolution up to 640 X 480 pixels.

Plustek IPcam P1100 Camera comes with various intelligent settings i.e. sensor alert, motion detection sensor, human detection sensor, timer and other function. The camera will transfer image and a data log via e-mail address or via FTP to a server.

Therefore, you can record streaming video that utilizes high quality Motion-JPEG short header mode compression in your hard drive, enabling motion detection and setting up automatic e-mail alert notification or via Internet to control I/O port and alarm system.

The camera is very easy to install and easy to use. The advance surveillance software of the camera not only makes the process easy in terms of monitoring and management, but also allows the footage to be archived. The software also allows to playback video to monitor accommodating as many as four cameras on a single screen.

The camera supports all kinds of network protocols i.e. TCP/IP, HTTP, PPPoE, SMTP, DNS, DHCP, SNTP, DDNS etc. As it usage 128-bit Web encryption and user group protected password authentication, it is very difficult to hack the footage from the camera network.
