Platforms, the new Zen force for Zensar

PUNE, INDIA: Zensar is accelerating fast on the platforms track and would be entering new verticals like construction and utilities for the same.

It plans to launch preconfigured solutions in the near future for industries like construction, utilities, Higher Education, mining and medical devices.

As Dr. Ganesh Natarajan, Vice-Chairman and CEO Zensar explains, time-to-market, leveraging best practices and implementation effectiveness are the key drivers that are reorienting the market towards the platform route.

“I won’t be surprised to see pre-configured format revolutionizing the enterprise product market in the next five years,” he opines.

Recently, Nirula’s adopted a solution that marked the platform’s evolution.

“Our preconfigured solution ‘Zen Gourmet’ built on the SAP platform, has provided Nirula’s with a system that is scalable and reliable and enables the organization to derive immediate business benefits. As a part of our extended programme, post this implementation, we will continue to support our users to ensure that we bring innovation and improvement in the business process and ensure value for our customers,” said Prakash Tripathi, Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing, Zensar-OBT Technologies. 

Zensar is currently offering the following SAP Certified Pre-Configured solutions in sectors like Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences,Textiles and AFS (Apparel and Footwear Solution), Engineering, Dairy and Food, IT Professional Services and Retail.

Also on the domestic market front, Zensar expects to touch Rs 100crores value in 2010 with a 20 per cent year-on-year growth for next five years. Some of its customers are Matrix Labs, Haldiram Ltd, Sulzer Pumps India ltd etc.
